The Story of ῆomada Our stone house, ῆomada, stands on the very spot where our great grandfathers home stood for 300 years. It was a beautiful old place, full of history. We really wanted to fix it up, but sadly, it was too damaged to save. So, we decided to rebuild it, using the original stones from the old house. We added our own touch of modern design blending the past with the present. We named it ῆomada because like nomads, all kinds of people have passed through our town of batroun and our guesthouse has always welcomed them. Now, this special stone house is part of our modern guesthouse, ready to welcome you too!
Our Guesthouse: A Blend of Heritage and Tranquility At our guesthouse, we offer a unique concept that marries Lebanese heritage with modern tranquility, all set in the beautiful coastal town of Batroun. It’s more than just a place to stay; it’s an experience designed to immerse you in the authentic charm of Lebanon while providing all the comforts of a contemporary escape. Our heart lies in Nomada, a stone house meticulously rebuilt from the original 300-year-old family home, using its very own stones. This means you’re not just sleeping in a room, but within the walls that hold centuries of stories and the spirit of generations past. We’ve seamlessly integrated this historic gem with our modern villa, creating a harmonious blend of old and new. The experience here is one of peaceful connection. You can unwind in the serene ambiance of our modern spaces, then step into the rustic embrace of Nomada, feeling the history in its stones. We’re a place that welcomes everyone – just like the “nomads” who’ve always passed through Batroun. Whether you’re a couple seeking a cozy retreat or a group of eight looking to connect, our versatile spaces, including two connected areas in Nomada, can be tailored to your needs. Ultimately, we invite you to experience a stay that’s deeply rooted in the past, refreshingly modern in its comforts, and warmly welcoming to all who cross our threshold in Batroun.
