DIYAFA’s Mission Statement
To promote collaboration, excellence, and sustainability within the guesthouse industry, while advocating for the interests of our members and fostering a culture of innovation and hospitality.

Characteristics of Guesthouses in Lebanon
- Host: all guesthouse projects have a host, who receives the guests in a personalized manner, in opposition to other touristic projects such as hotels and Airbnb’s.
- Experience: every guesthouse project presents a unique experience and a story.
- Authenticity: all guesthouse projects are related in one way or another to a remarkable aspect of the Lebanese heritage: history, food, nature, architecture, spirituality, etc.
- Size: guesthouses in Lebanon can vary in size from rooms within the host’s residence to a group of guesthouses managed by the host, like a guesthouse village.

Main Objectives of DIYAFA
