It all started in 2018, when I decided to launch a family business in my village with two main goals: first, to break free from the office routine and return from Germany to settle in Bmahray; and second, to welcome guests from across Lebanon and around the world, sharing with them our traditions and the natural beauty of our region and village. Mountscape was the first project of its kind in Bmahray. It breathed new life into the village, created job opportunities for locals, and put Bmahray on the map for both Lebanese visitors and international travelers.
Mountscape is nestled in a peaceful valley, surrounded by centuries-old oak trees and bordered by a big pine forest. During your stay, all you’ll hear is birdsong and the gentle rustling of oak leaves in the breeze. Ideally located at the crossroads of Aley, Matn, Chouf, and the Bekaa, Mountscape offers the perfect base for exploring a wide range of natural and cultural treasures across central Lebanon. The property features duplex mini-villas with a traditional stone façade, blending beautifully with the landscape. Inside, the architecture is modern and thoughtfully designed to offer a high level of comfort. Some units come with private gardens, while others include private pools—perfect for sunny summer days. Our Lebanese breakfast is a highlight of the experience, homemade with organic, locally sourced and self-planted ingredients during the summer season. A guest favorite is our mana’ish, topped with organic zaatar grown right here on-site. Today, Mountscape runs entirely on solar energy, making your stay not just relaxing, but sustainable. The surrounding region also offers countless opportunities for exploration, from scenic hikes to cultural discoveries.
