Bkerzay began with a deep love for craftsmanship. Its founder, passionate about pottery, brought in a master artisan from Fayoum, Egypt, to revive and share ancestral techniques. What started as a small pottery hub gradually grew—a restaurant was introduced to welcome visitors for the day, followed by charming guesthouses for those wishing to stay longer. Today, Bkerzay is a self-sustaining eco-village powered by solar energy, rooted in respect for nature and heritage. It also serves a social mission: creating job opportunities for local youth, encouraging them to remain connected to their land and traditions.
A stay at Bkerzay feels like pressing pause. You’re surrounded by nature, stone paths, and handmade details that make everything feel warm and real. Mornings start with birdsong and mountain air, afternoons can be spent lounging by the pool, exploring pottery, hiking, or simply doing nothing at all. The food is fresh, local, and made to be enjoyed slowly. It’s the kind of place where you can truly disconnect—and somehow feel more connected at the same time.
